I am originally from N Alabama too. I would be very interested in a SE US apostafest. I will try to bring my family also.

Okay, without being too specific because I do not want to endanger family members, I am from the Tennessee Valley area, near Huntsville. Athens, Huntsville, Cullman, Muscle Shoals or Florence would be good areas to meet up. Maybe Birmingham. What do you think?

Coool!! We'd like to make it as equal a drive for all as possible so, someplace kinda centrally located would be ideal. Also, we've got a work situation where we can be pretty flexible as to dates, so what's a good day for everyone else?
