Any machine that is mass produced will more frequently break down. This is true of all electronics. We use Dels on our campus and as enterprise machine they stand up well considering they have to run antivirus, software that restricts changes or installations remirroring itself on reboot, AND all the various programs that all the divisions use in thier cirriculum. Add 6000+ people using them in labs and faculty/staff machines I think they do just fine.. I also use the Del Pentium II Optiplexes in my hardware class. Lemme tell you, it takes quite a bit to break them. Which I encourage my students to do all the time...*LOL*
