"As is typical with those who scream "bigot", you fail to point to any specific example, you just make insulting comments about people having a WT mentality. Always a sure sign of a strong argument (not)."

The fact that you felt the need to start a thread about "rights" is a terrific example in and of itself. It reeks of JW bigotry.

WillYouDFme I'm with you on this. It's sad to see so many pots here calling the kettle black.

So, anyone who wants to even have an interesting discussion on a subject relevant to topics in the news is now a bigot and a nazi just for wanting to have a discourse and share ideas?

Again, you can't point to anything so you call "bigot" even though you don't really know why, you just don't like people having a discussion. Guess what, we'll ignore people like you and have it anyway.

You have the right to accelerate toward the center of the planet at a rate of approximately 32 feet per second per second OR 9.8 meters per second per second, your choice.

Pretty much everything else is determined by who has the more effective weapon.

As my late father was wont to say "You are free to do as you are told!"

Exactly... you can't have it both ways. You can't say "Hey let's have the government control nearly nothing", while on the other hand say " Hey, private businesses should be able to discriminate based on anything they want"

If you want to have free enterprise and have private businesses control access to goods and services (which they should), then the government needs to have a role in making sure all people actually do have access to good and services, from a discrimination perspective.

What's the difference between me wanting steak from a restaurant that doesn't serve it, and a gay couple wanting a gay wedding cake from a shop that doesn't make gay wedding cakes?

The difference is that a shop makes individual ordered cakes and a gay couple is not asking for something not on the menu. There are no "gay" ingredients that they don't carry. If the couple want 2 grooms atop the cake, the shop could sell them 2 groom figures and say "We would rather not place them there ourselves, so you do it." "Doesn't make gay wedding cakes" is an excuse given for discriminating reasons.

No, they were willing to serve them as other customers. They didn't want to decorate a cake with messages that went against their principles and beliefs. Stop mis-representing the issue as something that it isn't. No one was being discriminated against, instead it is government-backed harassment of someone based on their religious beliefs, specifically because they are Christian.
