It is interesting, that they are discontinuating older stuff but also newer one like the Jeremiah book.

(I guess some literature will run out and be available at a later date?)

Perhaps this literature will be only available on jw.org and no longer in print.

Wow. So how many printed books will be left? Five or six?

All I can think of is those hours upon hours of book studies when I was a kid studying the Mans Salvation book , books on Ezekiel ,etc. Just mind numbingly boring. All the forced parallels of Christendom's clergy supposedly being the "modern day fulfillment" of Jerusalem or Israel or whatever. Looking out of the window seeing my friends ( sorry - "associates" ) next door playing on their bikes or football.

All that material is all rubbish now. Long since out of print. Abandoned. Suitable only for the trash. The WTBTS doesn't even teach these "types and anti-types" any more. What a huge waste of time.

Not surprised that they are discontinuing the Isaiah book, it was so dull and drab. As another poster brought out the whole book is about the restoration of the Israelites to their homeland. So each chapter had the same "modern day fulfillment", it was really a stretch. It's really a historical record and has no particularly great meaning for us today. Their was never any need for a verse by verse prophetic take but we endured it.

What surprises me is that they are doing away with the Revelation book. How many times did we study that book? Each time being told that it was one of the deeper things that needed to be studied closely. Now we don't need it at all, isn't that amazing? I wouldn't be surprised if they let some time pass so that people forget about the explanations given in the Revelation book. Then they come out with a new book on Revelation incorporating the new understandings of Jesus parables that they have been doing lately. Of course that one will then be the one that is so important to study deeply. LOL

Great point. Just think of all the time that we spent studying and re-studying these books. Now they are going out-of-print. I wish the org would go "out-of-print".
