    DU29:
I don't think that any part of the response is negative, it just gives indicators as to how things may be.

If you sometimes find the big picture overwhelming, then it could well be spot on. That's not negative, it's just the way you are wired. It's positive in taht it suggests that you have good focus on the objective at hand.

You may be able to bring more to light, when you've had a chance to rest.

I have taken forms of this test many times. Each time, it came out to be "exactly what we're looking for" from the employer's prospective. Once you get the hang of these things, you can skew them however you want. Much of it depends on the mood you're in when you take them, who is administering the test, and what you think "they" want.

I always got the job I wanted.

Chris, your career personality type is INTJ

That means that based on the standard measure of personality traits, your intellectual prowess and ability to focus on one issue allow you to easily become an expert in anything you set your mind to. You focus on the possibilities a project or ideas offer, but put your concepts into motion.

You are a doer and not just a dreamer. You are well grounded in reality and use logic and analytical thinking to create new ideas. When an idea excites you, your perfectionist tendencies come out.

Given your ability to learn quickly, you rapidly ascend the career ladder. You possess the ability to work well alone but can work with a team if they perform at your pace.

And yet I'm stuck in a dead end job that I hate. Only I could snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Ah, what a successful intelligent person I am.

your career personality type is ESFP

That means that based on the standard measure of personality traits, you are well-balanced and place equal importance on work as on your personal life. You are dedicated to maintaining a level of culture in your life and therefore won't sacrifice interesting work for high pay.

With your high energy and chameleon-like adaptabilities, you seek work that is fast-paced and ever-changing. Working directly with people provides you with that outlet. On top of it, you have an uncanny ability to keep peace and maintain a level of serenity and happiness in your environment. If emotions flare up in the room, people look to you to pull out a story or joke that deflates the tension.

You prefer to live in the moment and appreciate what life and work offer now. The future is unknowable and does not draw you in like the present. Part of your easy-going outlook toward the future has to do with knowing that you can adapt to whatever comes your way.

The reason employers and recruiters might be on the lookout for you is that only about 8% of the U.S. population shares the unique characteristics of your personality type. Research shows that businesses succeed when employers create a good balance of personality types in the office. And since only 8% of the U.S. population shares your type, that means employers are looking for you.

But, to truly show employers what you have to offer, you need to understand a little more about traits that make up your type.
