In the talk, delivered by Splane himself, the smugness just oozes out like pus from a pimple. He is so, so, SO proud of himself that he figured this out, correcting Freddy's error.

And of course the $64,000 question: If they got the interpretation of these "locusts" so dead wrong for so many decades, what are they teaching now that is wrong, and will be corrected next year or in 5 or 10 years?

I've read in countless WT magazines that "a true religion teaches what is true". So, JWs were a false religion until Splane had his holy revelation?

Actually when the time came to boldly proclaim that they have the one true religion,George Jackass very boldly said he does not want to be presumptuous in saying that. (In ARC in court)

During the times when the magazines had a price, the witnesses were indeed as locusts, when they descended on a village to pry the last Pesos from the hapless, polite, hospitable inhabitants, bound be convention.

So much for the locusts, how about the galloping horses of revelation that picture the wt literature, now galloping views on the jworg virtual overlappingness?

Which is it - the locust are the annointed in the preaching work or Babylonian invaders of Jerusalem? I only ask because they are in no shape or form close or related. This is not a matter of "the light getting brighter and brighter."

Put a car in a dark room and slowly turn up the light. At no point is the car going to end up being a beluga whale.

This is not a case of light getting brighter, or some type of clarification in understanding an existing doctrine more fully. These are complete opposite teachings which means that the “locusts” have zero prophetic significance as previously taught.
