There are several possibilities.
The obvious one is that Caspian is 100% genuine. However, even if he is, there are certain inconsistencies in his post history. The style of writing changes incredibly for one thing. The Jemimah same IP addy is worrying too.
Maybe Caspian is several posters all sharing the same account here? Or maybe Caspian is a genuine ex-witness who wants a bit of fame so as to be some sort of hero? Maybe he figures that it's a good way to meet a few members of the fairer sex?
I'm inclined to think that the only way we will ever know is to set up a face to face meeting. A telephone call is no good whatsoever. Lot's of Brits can mimic a Yorkshire accent, hell, I can do it too, so it means nothing. Plus, if he is a well known ex-elder, with connections in bethel, the accent / location would really narrow things down uncomfortably, so I doubt if he would volunteer that information if it was genuine.

Mike.....there is no other explanation needed. This guy posted as another individual under the same IP. He even had this Jemimah set up, well before he began posting as caspian. He thanked Jemimah for his input. Why would you thank a poster on this site who is using your own computor?
What baffles me is the reasoning behind what he is doing. To gain admiration from others as you say? It seems that would be a good reason.... unless there is another motive we are unaware of.

I did a search a while back and found out that the administrator's name is Joel Gott.
His e-mail address at that time was [email protected].
I can't find the initial documents at this moment, but will try to find them.

"Jemimah" isn't dead because Caspian is/was Jemimah.
"Caspians" father isn't dead because "Caspian" made him up to try and legitmize himself. A fraud however, cannot be legitimized by making up a new character and killing them off.
Caspians "wife" isn't leaving him, because she isn't real either.
Caspians "sister" can be a hardcore witness one month, and then a inactive-for-2-years-witness-26-year-old-practicing-doctor the next month, because she to is just a figment of the fraud Caspian has perpetrated on the board.
His motives? I haven't a clue. My best bet is that he's just a sick puppy who likes to play puppeteer. BUT, it could be worse than that, so if you've given him information, do what you can to protect yourself.
BTW, if any of the above seems like wild speculation on my part, it isn't; you just haven't looked at the evidence. This isn't brain surgery, or even forsenic science, and I aint Sherlock Holmes. It's simple human behaviour, and the evidence (or 95% of it, a small portion of the evidence is behind the scenes and private to other posters) is right out on the open on this db for anyone to look at.
My last word on all of this.... is that for whatever reason/s, it seems a good many otherwise normal posters seem to think maybe it's kinda OK for people to make shit up about themselves, y'know, stretch the truth into a gooey mess, and the db and posters in general should just have to deal with it.

How specific are the IP addresses? Is there any way they could used by different computers? I've been doing some searching, and found someone else on this board has also used the same IP address on some of their posts........
