Euphemism,
And based on Gadget's info, it appears that Englishman, ScoobySnax, Jemimah, and Caspian are all on AOL.I don't see the evidence for that. Englishmen and ScoobySnax, yes, and MAYBE Caspian, but no one said that all 4 IPs were the same, only that Eng-Scoob were on the same and Jem-Casp were on the same. You can EITHER get the same IP by being with the a "megaproxying" ISP like AOL, or you can be using the same computer. There are some less likely reasons too. (Also, it's possible to be on the same computer and have a different IP address for every post. That's not the issue here, but it's another way that people try not to get caught using multiple IDs and playing multiple roles online.) I find these suspicious cases quite interesting from a human/psych perspective. There are often themes and subthemes and hints about their true identity left via the "thou doth protest too much" syndrome. They often tie together the very hints necessary to unravel themselves. Oh, and by the way, Cas, once answered the ISP question just a month ago with: www.adslguide.org.uk rather than mentioning AOL in: Re: What ISP do you use? and even in this thread, he says his email address is: is [email protected] meaning that he is not using email addresses (here) that are available from adslguide or fsmail (associated with www.fsmail.net www.freeserve.com and www.wanadoo.fr . Of course, these could just be diversions, but even a "suspicious" persona will leave a lot of true information to help balance/cancel the potential suspicions. Just my opinion, Gamaliel
Im sort of curious as 2 what caspian said to six on the phone...
"Is £50 enough for you to keep quiet?"
£50
Is that all?????
Damn and I thought I was cheap
because she to is just a figment of the fraud Caspian has perpetrated on the board
He should know he could be DF for cross dressing....doc made me say that
If Caspian is up to no good then I am in the shit as I have revealed my identity to him. So we shall see
Hey----Wouldn't it be something if Englishman had split personalities???
Hey----Wouldn't it be something if Englishman had split personalities???

No wonder they're so scared of the internet. The truth really IS out here!
Mike.
Cas evidently played this game rather dangerously. A shortlived poster named aikon seemed to have been created just to create a agree/disagree situation with Cas/Jem. They often shared threads with close timings but once they all posted within 2 minutes of each other on the same thread.

There's plenty more but it gets boring, and besides, maybe it's time to worry about how he or she is doing. There is often a reason people reach out for this kind of attention, and it's not something we should automatically kick them for. I think it's often true in these situations that so much hurt may have been dished out to them that it's easy for them to believe that there is no one else who could possibly be getting hurt by their own game.
