  Freedom to publicly voice a opinion is a part of democracy.

  What usually happens is if that opinion or ideology is valid and beneficial toward society then the population will accept it into the social environment and that society will be better for it .

  Backing and supporting Morris is bit redundant based from a guy who has taken the JWS position of higher education being dangerous and a useless cause .

  He's probably never put a foot into a University himself.
  

  The real underling position Morris was making was that higher education is dangerous because its a place where unrestrained knowledge exists such as science.

  The WTS/JWorg. is pro labor college such as in building trades so these ones with their training can build more Kingdom Halls and WTS/JWorg facilities.

  I'm referring to my social circle/acquaintances/friends. The times have changed re/education (or serious lack thereof because of the left's controlled UNION system) in this country so I understand what media commentator/hosts are referring to. I'm not blaming the educators - not the majority who are committed and work hard. I think it would take the Teamsters to help educators in some localities but the education system is a commodity (like the African Americans) to the LEFT.

  I agree that the US is largely moving towards socialism more and more. And Tony Morris may make a talking point or two.

  That said, only a completely brainwashed person would choose ignorance over an education..

  Not being harsh, just a matter of fact..

  The social and moral values that your children have, are learned in their household more than any school.

  That is provided that parents are engaged in the education, correction and nurturing of their offspring, obviously, the more the better.

  Of course, not everyone gets that, do they?

  The expression "They have broken out in a fresh place" comes immediately to mind here.

  As others have already noted, not much has changed from what that lot were sounding off about 50 years ago. Having worked extensively with university graduates over these last eight years, though, I haven't seen too many waving red flags and singing the The Internationale. Neither have those I deal with shown any difficulties figuring out whether they are Arthur or Martha! In fact, without exception, all the graduate engineers who have come through our office have been quite conservative types.

  Once again whenever TMIII opens his mouth, it would require something the size of a Caterpillar 992 front end loader to clear away all the BS that results!
