My ex husband had been cornered by the elders and instead of meeting with them, I was told at the time he wrote them a letter. The letter I was also told by one of the elders involved (yes, confidentiality goes a long way) was written so carefully that he said although he refused to meet with them regarding the alleged charges, the letter was written so they couldn't df or da him. I wish I knew what the letter had said. He had tied their hands and legally he said they could do nothing with him at the time.. until later of course when he was turned by 'two witnesses' for being seen smoking.. then they dfd him but this was years later. Who knows, maybe Euph's letter will tie their hands too.. I hope so if that is your intention.
