gerry - "...At an elders school we were told not to respond to any accusations made against us in the press..."

Sure, that worked in the Newspaper Age...

    ...in the Information Age, though?

The phrase "no comment" is pretty much a guarantee that the accusations are valid.

    Hi gerry

At an elders school we were told not to respond to any accusations made against us in the press. The idea is if no one is talking it will be forgotten.

Which, to be fair, is kinda how you can avoid the Streisand effect

Scientology is another good example of it... the more they tried to snuff out the exposure of their crazy-ass beliefs and shady-ass dealings, the more exposure they got.

The WT's "no comment" decree is the more sensible approach, so we - the XJW community - have to remember to never let up (being in the Information Age helps, of course, as the internet never truly forgets anything)...

...so keep linking, "liking" and hashtagging the shit out of it.
