When the trump sounds and Jesus evacuates believers before the GT, I don't think the price of fuel will have much to do with it.

Christians will fly united, not United Airlines.

The next event on God's timeline is the Rapture. Christians are not appointed unto wrath

The Rapture (or snaching away) is the "blessed hope" for Christians..... not roughing it out during the GT. Tribulation believers will have to do that, not the church.

I believe Jesus will rescure his bride before the wrath of God is poured out on earth. He is not a wife-beater.
