Hard to choose the biggest change but apart from the changing doctrines, selling the properties and moving out of Brooklyn, laying off Bethelites, closing Branch offices and getting rid of the Special Pioneers etc was a significant indication of deep problems going on.

As far as them appointing themselves as the Faithful and Discreet Slave. I thought this is how they've viewed themselves since the C.T. Russell days. Didn't this idea come from his wife and she pushed her husband into reluctantly pursuing it?

^ The latter was my reaction. I didn't know about the former.

If this v is Toole what's the A.R.C. issue?

The Watchtower Society conceded to the Australian Parliament that blood transfusions are at times essential to save lives. In the Hansard Committee, Vin Toole, representing the legal department of the Australian Branch of the Watchtower Society, makes such an admission.

"What we have said is that there may well be circumstances arise where it does become an absolute life and death issue." aph.gov.au as at 27th May 2006

'' getting rid of the Special Pioneers etc was a significant indication of deep problems going on.''

I never would have imagined the Borg getting rid of their ''elite'' Special Pioneers. The ones who do all the work for the Borg.

I think the property sales just indicate streamlining business and the GB fur-
ther isolating themselves for security. The HQ (25-30 Columbia Heights, DUMBO)
and two other properties are expected to sell for over 1 billion dollars. The
Watchtower is expected to move from the Brooklyn headquarters to upstate Warwick
(Orange county in southern NY) in 2016-2017. Wallkill (printing
    operation) was expanded.

I can only guess what they have in mind about Special Pioneers--some kind of
    replacement?

Moving out of Brooklyn is huge, at least for JWs in the US.

''Moving out of Brooklyn is huge, at least for JWs in the US.'''

I know it's probably very hard for JW's to get their head around.

They are more focused on the now and all that it entails. The new meeting format, New Bible, jw org, tv station, carts, and other garbage. But even though Splane made a fool of himself with overlapping crap, the urgency of Armageddon has really waned in the past 5 years.

One thing I see coming from the GB leaders is the aggressive pursuit of money from the body of the organization's members.

Its like they thermaselves have realized this organization was founded and formulated on falsely arranged doctrines and theological premises , so they are grabbing as much wealth as they can before the adherence to the posed illusion runs out or fades away completely.

......... or maybe I'm just being overly speculative ?
