Nothing to do with impeachment. Nixon had already resigned when he was pardoned. You can't fire someone after they quit. The pardon did prevent him from facing potential criminal prosecution.

After hours of pondering Shadowclone’s many faceted/high resolution views there seems to be only one logical solution.
We need some kind of Organization, definitely backed by the Elite, to start implementing steps to dissolve any political parties that don’t agree with…I don’t know…some kind of World Wide ( Global? ) agenda?
They would have to get political leaders in their pocket and probably infiltrate communities on the local level. Of course they would need some kind of Mass Media that would act in unison while simultaneously censoring all opposing viewpoints. Disarming the general population would also be advantageous.
This would all take decades of course, but if you have a “long game” mentality you could pull it off. After all, most people are to busy just trying to make ends meet so they probably wouldn’t notice. The hierarchy of needs of the general population would ensure that most won’t be able to affect any sort of changes, or resist. Besides, it would be for their own good.
