    attempted coup

An attempted coup that no one brought guns to?

Doesn't seem like much of an attempt ...

But the actual coup happened on election night. 2000 Mules.

The rioters were breaking into the Capitol during Trump's speech. These were mostly QAnon, Pround Boys, and Oath Keepers. But mostly QAnon.

They expected to rush into congress, the VP would back them up, invalidate electors, expose massive pedophile ring among the democrats, mass arrests, etc.

Now, are we going to hear anything about who (or possibly what three letter agency) is behind "Q"?

I just watched some of the clown show on LawTube. Underwhelming.

The question I hardly ever see asked is why Nancy Pelosi didn't sign off on adding additional security that Donald Trump requested. Her signature as Speaker of the House is required.

This whole Made For TV Event is pointless when the country has real problems.

Though the hearings apparently weren't broadcast on cable Fox News, in my metropolitan area (which is very liberal) they were broadcast over the air on the local TV Fox News station (along with ABC, CBS, NBC, and PBS).

Hundreds (not simply a few, not simply 3 to 7) of rioters stormed into the Capitol building and seriously injured some police officers and killed at least one of them. However, I didn't see any of the rioters using guns or carrying guns, though some had other weapons (that is, objects they used as weapons) with them. Trump made some comments (including saying to be "wild") which motivated/encouraged many of the rioters (and which caused millions of people to falsely think the U.S. presidential election was stolen from Trump), but none of Trump's words explicitly said to be violent at the U.S. Capitol building.

Other than having a political purpose, I can't think of any reason why congress is doing its investigation and hearings, since the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) is doing their own investigation, arrests, and prosecution of individual people involved.

No, they didn't. That's fake news. He died of a natural health condition and no one has been charged.

"Speculation over Officer Sicknick's death was the source of widespread misinformation after the New York Times reported erroneously that protesters had bludgeoned him with a fire extinguisher - a claim the newspaper later retracted."

But police did shoot and kill a woman, on camera, and there's not even been an investigation. They also seriously injured another one.

This is a political hoax, just like all the other hoaxes, created by the democrats and their media allies, and all the same idiots fall for it as before.

If they want to claim that Trump called for this, then the dems have far more things to answer for including shootings of their political opponents because they did far more direct "call to arms".

As Dinesh D'Souza (2000 Mules) tweeted, "The whole premise of the #January 6th hearings is the election wasn't stolen. But what if it was? In that case, the actions of the protesters would seem moderate, even restrained. That's why the committee dare not confront "2000 Mules". It destroys their narrative.

I think the Capital Rioters and tourists had a strong feeling that something wasn't right about the supposedly "Free and Fair Election" in 2020. Shortly after the election, I had written letters to the Secretary of State in Georgia and the Governor asking them to look at the video evidence of the drop boxes and at the State Farm Arena where the votes were counted to look for irregularities.

2000 Mules has explained to my satisfaction what happened: The election was stolen by stuffing votes in the mail in drop boxes.

    I thought the same thing.

This whole thing is another intentional Pelosi political stunt. Kind of like the Clinton/Russia hoax baloney. (No need to wonder why we haven't seen Hilary in the news lately - she got caught). Three days before the riot, Trump and the Capital police Chief contacted Pelosi and requested as many as 20,000 National Guard to protect the Capital. She denied the request.

20 or so years ago there hasn't much difference between the two parties. As of late, the Republicans have moved a bit to the center. The Democrats have moved over the liberal edge and over the cliff. Everything they support is evil.

America was driven to dislike Trump for several reasons.

98% of Democrats are globalist and about 25% of Republicans are globalist.

Trump was not a Washington insider. Our illustrious - Globalist politicians - didn't want him knowing about their deceitful ways - the fraud, profiteering, and widespread corruption. America was the only thing interfering with the WEF and United Nations goals of Agenda 2021 and 2030. Trump wanted to keep America - AMERICA.

We are headed for a Socialist/Communist/Technocracy, -digital currency - digital ID...etc.

Here is 18 USC ยง2383 - Rebellion of Insurrection

Whoever incites, sets on foot, assists, or engages in any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States or the laws thereof, or gives aid or comfort thereto, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

As far as I know, to date, no person has been charged with 18 USC 2383.

My point: I find what happened on January 6, 2021 at the US Capitol to be highly disturbing. Persons who violated the law should be held accountable while given due process. To mischaracterize or overdramatize what happened is a miscarriage of justice and political maleficence. 18 USC 2383 was written as a result of the U.S. Civil War in which an militarized rebellion took place costing 620,000 men.
