  Perry tips his hand by using the word 'authority'. An unthinking believer (they are not all unthinking) defaults to authority every time. But Satan was right you know, we do have to decide for ourselves what is right and wrong. Most of the time that's easy, sometimes it takes a lot of pain along the way.

  Homosexuality is a necessity and a good thing for our planet. The population is exploding at an unsustainable rate. Thinking about things from an environmental and ecological perspective, gays are the best thing going for this planet right now.

  If one is gay on the other hand, it must be perfectly normal to feel that way. Ancient religious values are not appropriate in the modern world.

  Forget the Bible; it divides people. The more enlightened way today is by pluralism, which means recognizing the full spectrum of human needs and behaviour.
