Redvip2000..... u just tugged up. Your comment demonstrates that you can think and reason instead of being dogmatic about a point. This means the 5 bros will now forsake you.

That is of course a highly rational argument.
Thus, you can expect a chorus of accusations that you are an "antifa", a member of the "regressive left", and so on.

Please! Can you stop with the well-poisoning and name calling and have a rational conversation instead!

In the eyes of the regressive left, any merits of a person will be seen through their marxist ideology. Therefore, all Columbus did was sail in a boat and commit genocide. He did nothing good and all evil, and so the case is EASIER to make his arguments should be torn down than it is for Robert E. Lee.

If you think any different you don't know the regressive left as well as you think you do.

the one who started all this and who continues to fan the flames of racial hatred globally by means of his twitter account is DONALD TRUMP. Is he leftwing or rightwing? with so many people trying to re-write history it is becoming so confusing. sack this idiot narcissst and everything will settle down.

then we can go back to saying that we are having to live with the unintended consequences of what the white man planned for the world and that they genuinely believed that one day everyone could benefit cos we are all human aren't we. except that being human some want much more than others - others being white women, lgbt, men and women who are blacks and injuns, poor whites like the Irish, the chinese, JWs and xJWs etc etc. There is plenty of money around but those who are holding this for themselves are once again those who claim unintended consequences are continuing to be at work ... btw this is a partial explanation and isn't the whole story... the whole story would be too long and boring!!!!

    Hi All,

I'm going to run down the middle with this statue removing issue...All these statues were human beings, they did great things and added to our history, some things they did were not so nice...owning slaves, etc., Christopher claiming he discovered America...how could he discover something that was already inhabited...it's not like the land was empty and they brought the first humans and animals to America....it's like saying...you saw what looked like an abandoned bldg. and thought no one lived there.. but later the folks came home...or should I say, You discovered they came home...

So, yes, take down the statues and put them in a museum because they are a part of US history, but it's to celebrate them NO...they upheld slavery and other issues that were fought for...but let's look at Jehovah...he is not partial...Lets take a look at David...umm...he was close to Jehovah's heart, but, he killed, committed adultery and maybe some other things...did Jehovah hold that against him....NO, because if he did...we would not be reading Psalms today...I'm just saying...

This is a very common occurrence in Latin American countries with the political changes, however the removal of names and statues applies mostly to contemporary figures and not older historical ones.

Surprisingly the person that started the whole movement of symbols removal here is Nikky Haley, the current ONU Ambassador as SC Governor.

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Gov. Nikki R. Haley called on Monday for South Carolina to do what just a week ago seemed politically impossible — remove the Confederate battle flag from its perch in front of the State House building here. She argued that a symbol long revered by many Southerners was for some, after the church massacre in Charleston, a “deeply offensive symbol of a brutally offensive past.”

    Wow Hecce excellent research!

So Nikki Haley is the one who started this madness, and conveniently she is elected to the UN, the hub of globalism. Very strange coincidence!

I don't think that when Nikki Haley did that you envisioned the implications that her action was going to bring, same as the people pushing this matter. they don't realize that this is a giant snowball that is going to wreck this country apart.

After we get all the statues down, I wonder what the next offensive thing will be?

    I know !!!!!!!!!

We need to replace that horrible American flag!!

It was flying over this country when a lot of bad shit was happening.

Slavery stuff, Indian stuff, women rights stuff, gay rights stuff.

Git rid of it !!!!!! Any Ideas for a replacement ?

Maybe the rainbow or black power flag?
