If they are believing in the absolute truth of JW, it is to them a matter of life and death to get you all in Jehovah's "saving arc". Find the time to have a eye to eye conversion with them. Express your gratitude for what they have done for you but also tell them they are not allowed to take the kids to Kingdom hall or give them JW litterature. They may get offended but much is at stake ☺️

They cannot be good JW's if they maintain such a close relationship with non believers. Anyone not of the religion is considered a "bad associate" who can potentially "spoil useful habits"...

Your time together no doubt is counted as field service time, unless they are not really all that into the cult. As for your kids.....you can make it clear that you do not want them to teach them anything about religion, the bible, etc......that is your prerogative as parents.

Hope this situation doesn't go awry.....

JWs are spiritual predators. Yes they want to teach your kids, and by doing so they think they're saving them. The meetings and the teachings are manipulative and designed to get in the minds and hearts of people. Get your children away from them. There are JWs that foster kids just to make money and preach to them. Do not allow your most vulnerable around them. They can be good people at heart but they are around a toxic environment that is spiritually abusive. Part of the lure is that they are often nice people. Sometimes nice people get caught up in really insidious things though.

You actually let your kids spend the night in their home??? And they are NOT related to you?

You need to watch the Docuseries on the Oxygen Network (may also be on Netflix and NBC online now) called, "The Witnesses."

JW's are a cult!!! Would you let your kids stay with Jim Jones family?

We have attended 2 of their daughters weddings and they even had seats reserved at their table to sit with their immediate family. They have photo albums for each of our kids. Honestly guys these people are family to us. If I suspect anything dangerous then I will stop it. They have been in our lives for over 6 years.

Dano - Well, you will make your own mind up, mate.

Just beware of the dangerous nature of the cult if not your 'friends'. Don't let your investment in them colour your judgement.

    Over to you, geezer.

Welcome, Dano3456. Your post puts a chill down my spine.

Your sneaky "friends" crossed a line that can never be uncrossed when they usurped your parental authority in regards to family religious instruction. It appears your young family may have been specifically targeted to count indoctrination time as easy hours to be reported back to Watchtower Headquarters.

You should know that children are little more than fresh flesh for these religious vampires. They've already started the grooming process. Most likely they've been showing your kids videos and reading them Watchtower cult litterature behind your backs since day one. It's how they operate.

Without your knowledge or permission, they've paraded your children around like trophies to a bunch of strangers with a long, sordid history of child abuse both mental and physical. As already mentioned, they put your children at risk of contact with unreported sexual predators as well.

It's not enough to put your foot down, or up their ass as the case may be, and tell them no more Kingdom Hall meetings. They will most certainly defy your wishes and continue to "inculcate" your kids with videos, litterature, and age-inappropriate discussions aimed to divide your family and turn your children against you in ways you cannot even begin to fathom.

So, enough with the "free" babysitting.

They have an agenda with your kids, and you are no part of it.

My advice is to cut these people out of your lives like a cancer. They don't respect you now, and they never will.

Lots of JWs don't have children because the end of the world is just so near, or they have disowned their own children for not wanting to be JWs, or there children are pionnering in some stupid country and literally don't have a pot to piss in and of course they don't have any grandchildren because of the stupidity they have brainwashed there children with.

They leech on to other people kids. They try to fill the void of there pointless lives by being helpful to young families. You have no idea the danger you are exposing your children too.

    Welcome Dano!

Your children will learn that God (Jehovah) will soon destroy everyone on earth that is not a JW. This often leads to highly influential children becoming stressed and anxious that they and their parents, grandparents, aunts, cousins etc will be killed at armageddon.

Because JWs believe they are doing a life saving work, they will use whatever methods they can to convert as many people possible into becoming JWs, including using children's fears to pressure their parents.

While I appreciate you think highly of these people, and while they maybe the best people you will ever know and trust, remember, they are JWs who believe they have the ultimate obligation to convert the masses to save their lives.

    Welcome Dano!

Watch this YouTube from the Mentally Diseased channel on a spouse converting. It is the closest situation to yours:

Also, watch the Demon Problems video. ABC, 123, Demons are everywhere!

PS. JWs call those who leave the group mentally diseased, hence the channel name. I think it is from a 2011 Watchtower.
