Crisis of Conscience and most of The Gentile Times Reconsidered by Carl Olof Jonsson so far. Also...even thought it's not a book I'm a huge fan of the John Cedars (Lloyd Evans) channel of YouTube.

"Apocalypse delayed" and "JW and the 3rd Reich" by James Penton should be also considered.

Only bits of crisis of conscience.

    Nothing else.

There came a time when I didn't need to re-inforce what I already knew about the weirdo cult.

Among others ( Franz's books helped me the most ) the following two free downloads I found helpful.

Captives of a Concept is an excellent short read. http://www.jw.or.kr/_PDFs/CaptivesOfaConcept01.pdf

The Atheist Book of Bible Stories ( free PDF download below ) is fascinating , although it deals more with the bible rather than JWs , but it is written by an ex-JW
