Speaking about something that supposedly happened in 1918 and still speaking about living 'in the end' seems so irrational.
Will they still speak about that in 10, 20, 50 years?
If the end does not come, the whole JW doctrinal building collapses. There's no more.
At these moments I realise what a irational mess this religion is.

The past idea about the 1914-1919 events was a reassembled house of cards that supported all following predictions, 1975 and all. but particularly the latest GB = Faithful & Discreet Slave of 1919 cornerstone.
With the 1918 captivity and release from "Babylon tg" removed, that house of doctrinal cards is actually collapsing, and with it the legitimacy of the WT's claims.

The WTS seems to be doing a lot white washing these days to cover up its many past false misleading doctrines such as 1914 , 1919 etc. trying to make themselves still viable as the chosen organization above all others.
This is the biggest dilemma the recent GB members have to deal with
today, the past GB members are all dead now which further adds to the
prevailing problem. The proclaimed "This Generation" has certainly
passed away from the last century and that's why the GB today has to
twist and do a juggling act to try and keep them looking legitimate.

Like someone else said here. I just don't know why they just stop mentioning it. The JW rational they will soon forget about it. It's like they are trying to dig a deeper whole.
