Hello.... another "newbie" here, trying to figure out how this forum works (so please bear with me). If it helps to know a little about each other, I'm female, mid-40's, much too "independent" for the WTBS, and healing after several years. Married 15 years to an elder with "more issues than Time magazine," which he was great about keeping hidden except from me. Divorced (nope, no adultery involved; call it a chance for sanity), left the "organization," discovered I was pretty okay after all, DA'd, but years later in a moment of weakness and trust went back (go ahead and call me a fool), only to discover I had grown so far past my old "friends" (and actually SCARED them), got burned by an elder in a relationship (who says elders aren't human? LOL), and finally recovered from all the damage that has been heaped on me over the years. I was wondering if anyone else has a similar story, or would just like to chat about their own experiences.
