I'm angry that they used being JW as an excuse to lazily limit my opportunities, not train me for real life, and be perfectly fine with telling me that they loved each other more than me because a man must stick to his wife. I'm angry that there is nothing in the world that could make them question their religion and that they just openly accept their obligation not to have a relationship with me. I think they honestly thought they were doing what was best, but they sure did capitalize on not having to celebrate holidays, provide extracurricular activities, pay for school dances, send me to college...
