Evolution paints human ancestors covered with fur. Fur has several benefits as stated by Britannica "The pelts of fur-bearing animals are called true furs when they consist of two elements: a dense undercoat, called ground hair, and longer hairs, extending beyond that layer, called guard hair. The principal function of ground hair is to maintain the animal’s body temperature; that of guard hair is to protect the underlying fur and skin and to shed rain or snow."

    Where's our fur?

It's called hair... look at your arms, legs, head etc.

Humans ancestors likely went through a near aquatic phase about 2-3 million years ago.

We have streamlined hair, descended lyrax, voluntary breathing, extra fat etc

Isn't that like saying "where are our gills" ?

It's still there. How do you explain why some people are ludicrously hairy?

Must be because we became so intelligent we didn't need our own fur... we could make clothes out of other animal's fur/wool...

    Where's our fur?

That's private. I don't show that to people.

Fur is beneficial for survival. Evolution stripped humans of this advantage?

Shadow - 8 months ago you started a thread called Evolution Hole #1 which turned out not to be about evolution at all.

    Still waiting on number 2.

cofty, your link does nothing to address the question.

scratchme1010, your discretion is much appreciated.
