Porn seen accidentally = once = go to parents = no problem

Porn seen after that = many, many times = don't tell parents = big problem = concealing wrongdoing

In the WTS porn is a problem with older males, even married males, MS and elders. The problem is not young men as much based on the WTS own accounts.

Yes Blondie, its such a problem with the men in the Org that the new guidelines are not to handle it judicially unless its "hard" porn.

So they finally had to make a judgement call on the severity of different types of porn!

So...what do the elders do now? Call a meeting to examine the porn to decide if it is "hard' porn or not? Ya know...just following orders. Gotta make sure what 'kind' of porn it is...gotta know how to 'handle' it

Ha, you read my mind. What kind of juicy details will the elders want to determine if the porn is "hard enough" to pursue judicially? And what meaning of "hard porn" are we using...? You get where I'm going, right? What happens when the elders doing the questioning get aroused talking about it? Do they need to get counseling, too? Are web addresses forked over? How does one handle this situation without incriminating themselves? Like the WT always said, once it's in your head, it'll never be out, and the imagination can be far more graphic in detail than any video or magazine...

I remember in the early '70's I would stay at the home of my pioneer partner off and on. His father was the 'congregation servant' at the time. When we would make a dump run with the weekly trash, his father was stupid enough to throw away Playboy and Esquire magazines right on top of the pile of rubbish.

Was the offensive material actually pornographic or was that left to the imagination of the audience?

Despite the fact that the word is defined objectively, the majority of people today prefer to interpret it along subjective lines, which leads to utterly ridiculous terms, like "earth porn" to describe a beautiful landscape, for example.

Religious types seem to be high on this list.

Next thing you know they will be going to the Elders saying that they accidentally masturbated 7 times in the past week.

    Or

They had a wet dream that they keep trying to re-live.

Saw porn accidentally? Isn't that what everybody says when they're surfing porn sites and get caught? Um, it was an accident. I was trying to bring up Wikipedia and I don't know why it went to this porn site. Damn computers! Maybe there's a virus.

Whether it's a kid hiding it from their parents or an adult hiding it from their spouse. I'll bet accident is the biggest excuse.

You know that kid was checking it out regularly and happened to get caught.
