While they say the shunning of inactive ones is for those who are not living by Bible principles, the reality is that only family members and friends MAY know about anything like that. Other JWs would not, so they should NOT shun. However, in typical WTBTS fashion, they set up the average JW to be judge and jury in their heart.

Yeah they had to spend some time to dangle the carrot to keep these Watchtower zombies in servitude to Corporation's interest I see a big hit up for money coming very soon. These loonies(GB) that make up these conventions are just so evil in the way they pray on these poor people it has got to becoming obvious a significant percentage of these people.

I'm expecting a real problems to develope now from these RCs and there content both legally and within the organization. It is definitely gonna hurt their cases against them especially if used as evidence of fraud and untrustworthy speech on the witness stand. I hope we see these guys in court real soon,, defending their asses against major lawsuits and some lawyer showing these RCs to judge and jury to get a huge sum in settlements for his client.

I WISH we could/would all be able to sue the WTBS for emotional damage, from its shunning/DF policies.

If we all did this together, we would topple this EVIL CULT.

I really thought that the organization would take a softer view of inactive ones, i.e. encouraging them to come back to the meetings.

Anxious to see how my JW relatives treat us going forward. Even though we have not committed any disfellowshipping offense, I'm sure they will assume that we have since we don't go to meetings. Time will tell.

My 2 cents on this....I thought that too but we think the inactive ones are giving the still ins an earful. Directing them to research the failed predictions (i.e. generation change, 607, 1914, etc.), also sharing what happened with the Australian Royal Commission last year. Telling a JW not to look at the internet is like telling an Elder not to look at porn. lol The inactive ones and the internet are ripping this wide open. The ones that are stuck in due to family and friends are not contributing anymore. They have tapped everyone dry. As they say..."the natives are getting restless."

I see a great deal in polarizing "spiritually weak ones" from the side of the GB. Just recently they brought out this brochure calling on inactive to return to Jehovah and now those same ones they are supposed to be shunned?

The GB are desperate frantically trying everything to stop the "damage" to the cult the internet does. Changing between warm and fuzzy rhetoric to full out calling out to shun inactive ones.

This reminds me of an abusive mentally ill parent swinging between lovebombing their child and next day abusing it beating and hurting it.

The GB must be put on Lithium meds

I hate this cult too. This has to be my last assembly if I can make it through the three days. Our RC is the last week of June.

I can see the split between the hard core believers and the rest of us happening too. At the convention they mentioned it more than once that bad associations can be right among those in the congregation.

hoser - "At the convention they mentioned it more than once that bad associations can be right among those in the congregation."

Funny how - with their very next breath, it seems - they advocate drawing even closer to the Org, and the people in it.

"Trust only Jehovah's people! Oh, and there might be apostates in your midst!"

Recipe for pure f**king paranoia, if you ask me.
