Rifles, shotguns,& hand guns. I have them for fun, home protection, hunting and predatory animals.
I distance target shoot [Think Creedmoor style matches] using a sharps 45-90 and an 1885 45-70 Highwall. I'm not great, but I can hit a target at 750 yards using iron sights. I use a five inch Vernier sight. These are black powder rifles in modern reproduction. I also like timed shoots. I use a High Standard Olympic Special with the long barrel.
Current collection minus the M&P compact
hickock45 is a national treasure lol
Love that guy
And please remember that guns - when used as a weapon - are inherently an offensive weapon. Not a defensive one.
If you are refering to use in the commission of crimes you are course correct. If you are refering to use in home defense (as the context of your remarks imply) you are unbelievably ignorant as to the word “offensive” or purposefully perverting it to push your nazi/leftist gun confiscation agenda.
Indeed he is... There is just something sexy about 12 gauges... the versatility is amazing.
I prefer Mossberg but I was recently gifted a benelli. I killed a turkey with it a few days... Nothing like a wild turkey breast.
Freemindfade... what state are u in
Currently Florida, but I have lived in Commiefornia and New York City as well.
I can say that in New York City for a citizen to own a gun, is pretty close to damn near impossible. And the laws in California are absurd.
I have a question: Is there a standard definition of what makes one a "gun nut"?
I would venture to say even the most avid gun owners on here support the idea of background checks, not allowing felons to buy guns, and so on (you know, the stuff that makes sense). Making none of them "gun nuts".
