  He says he has been offered free accommodation in Zabreb.

  This comment has been pinned to his video. It’s vintage Lloyd. After reiterating how “stressful” the entire situation has been on him, he expresses his gratitude for the superchats and other donations. Patreon + YT paid subs have “surged” from 388 to 406 and he says he will keep counting and update everyone as to how much more is coming in - a clear invitation for more people to give him money since he needs a lot more than what he has so far received.

  He does mention offers of accommodations but the one he is particularly interested is the “free” apartment in Zagreb. (Rent is Zagreb is €600 to €800). Nothing is for “free” and you get what you pay for. Meaning of course that if it is truly “free”, the place is in very poor shape. I don’t see how a Zagreb landlord is going to allow free accommodation to an English expat. This sounds like hearsay and it’s probably more of a a hole in the wall and not free.

  He brings his children into it for a further dosage of emotional manipulation, expressing how happy it would be if he didn’t have to leave. He makes no promises and still says there will be a “black out” period on his channel, thus setting himself up for a period of inactivity. He also promises a future video where he’ll inform everyone where he moved to.

  By all indications, he’s staying in Zagreb. He just wants exJWs to pay for it as always. So he’ll find a place and get enough for the first or even second month of rent and go dark for the remaining months of summer. He was never serious about moving back to the UK and getting a second or third job.

  Like the previous begging stunts, I think they end up alienating more supporters than they draw in. The previous asks were more for the channel. This one is different as he is asking directly for rent money. When his patrons dip down again, he’ll be back to where he is now, but with a higher rent. Last time they peaked at 360 and went back down to 310. I think 300 is his drop dead point where he really would have to consider finding a job. Every single time he’s has gotten that low, he’s released a begging video.

  Whoever offers him a place to stay "temporarily" is setting themselves up for some major disappointment...

  He has no choice but to move back to the UK and get a min wage job. But even then he will find it difficult because there are so many illegal migrants that will do the jobs Lloyd will be after.

  He could always try to hop on one of those small boats and stay in a fancy hotel rent-free; he would also be eligible to work for one of the food delivery companies, which are always looking for questionable men.
