    Hi PLH,
Your thought (good thought by the way) brings to mind
another deep and spiritual thought to go along with what your saying.

Sticks and stone may break my bones but names will never hurt me!

    Ah. What insperation.

    Hello peaceloveharmony,

thanks for your post. I do agree, although
it is not so easy and simple as it seems.
As for - Flip - you words:

"...because there’s little to be gained by allowing a habitually dysfunctional person to destroy your ability to function likewise your ability to assist others." are very, very true and we do
find these kind of people everywhere. Why should we allow them to
upset, unbalance or even diminish our joy in life???
Thanks, it's nice to see that others have...similar thoughts and
    feelings.

    Morning Mommie,

I like the graphics, very nifty. I am up early this morning, drinking my coffee and catching up on my reading.

My profound comments to this discussion are: "don't let the bstrds wear you down" and "don't sweat the small stuff, and it's all small stuff"..and as the great philosopher Alfed E. Newman once said, "what..me worry?"

    Larc,
(((HUGS))) It is always good to see you around Larc. I am drinking my coffee too. Those are my 2 favorite sayings. I loved the book, "Don't sweat the small stuff" I gave away several copies of it. The above pic was just a joke Larc, but it is early and my thinking capabiliities are not intact. If it is offensive, I will remove.

    Hi Wendy,
    That picture is not offensive.
I can actually see myself in it.

    Hey Mommie,

I like the graphic, although I prefer a 12 gauge shotgun to a hammer!

At your most outspoken moment, you are never offensive. I know I slip over the boarder from directness to offensiveness on occassion, but I am working on my character defect.
