Not really. When I was going through my abuse issues I talked with all 7 (or was it 8?) elders in my congregation. And when I say talk, it was really more of a rapid fire question session for them. I can be pretty intense and focused when I want to, and I was very motivated then. I demanded answers from them, but they had none. Looking back, what I did was pretty stupid. I could easily have been DF'd just for being an annoyance, which I was. But I was never afraid of them.

MYSTERY, My brother and SIL just left my house and they expressed sadness that their df'd daughter mentioned how she didn't feel that her elder father loved her like he did. My niece was more concerned that she might embarass her elder father if she didn't act like the perfect Witness daughter. Quite sad to see how a child can be fearful of their elder dad.
