Tweets on Twitter that mention JW.org will count as "Placements".
Publishers who send at least 1,000 tweets per month (that mention JW.org) and also maintain at least 100 faithful Twitter followers per month will automatically be considered Regular Pioneers as long as they show up for Field Service at least once per month.
Maybe the elder said or meant to say 'changes to the ministry [school]' which is changing a lot in 2016 as we know already.
on another note, it is becoming common for halls to have 3 and 4 congregations meeting at different times, and a Monday meeting is not unusual.
Maybe they're pulling the plug on door-to-door work in the developed world, because too many householders are becoming aware of the child abuse problem and confronting the JWs in ways they can't respond to by quote-mining the Bible, which in turn fosters more doubts amongs the R&F, resulting in a net reduction in membership. :smirk:

Anything "new" from the WTBTS is simply change for the sake of change, or reactive change.
JWs who are "true believers" are becoming dumber and dumber with each passing year. It's impossible to progress as a group when the individuals who comprise the group are regressing. Even rank&file dubs seem to have a form of Organizational devotion, but prove false to its power. They love movies and books and reality TV, big cities, technology, things of the "World." These "fence-sitting" sheep are actually more intelligent than the die-hard zealots, like the GB helpers, but I digress....
True progress requires real, continued education, which is absolutely necessary for personal growth. Otherwise, stagnation occurs. The WTBTS is a prime example of a stagnant group. Shuffling and re-shuffling rehashed, regurgitated, nonsense is not progress. The WTBTS "divine edjumication" program of lies, mis-quotes, false stories, and white-washing is not a formula for progress. It's a formula for "hold what you got, cause you stumbled onto something that works for a few at the top, and you're scared as f**k you're gonna lose it." Well, that can't and won't last.
How does a stagnating entity produce the illusion of progress when the individuals that affect the growth of the entity are stagnating themselves, incapable of progressing and furthering the progress of the entity?
This is an important question, because it allows us to understand the past and present actions of the WTBTS. We can basically predict what they will do, within reason, ( I say, "Within reason." because they are reactive, not proactive.) and can understand why they are stuck in a loop.
They believe they are the one true religion, just as CTR believed he was the FDS, just like Henry Miller believed that he solved the Bible code of the "End Times." To honestly believe that grandiose and delusional claim, requires that they remain relevant in relation to their world, their reality.
The GB, the most relevant religious leaders of all time, must reinforce their relevance or cease to exist. Yes, it is that serious, and they must realize that. They may not admit it, they may not discuss it during their weekly cult meeting, but it's present in their dark corners of consciousness. For the GB to lose their grasp on their collective identity as Captain Planet..oops, I meant "The FDS", would be collective suicide; their very way of life, their purpose in life, would cease to exist!
Ironically, by their own legalistic insanity, the past and present leaders of the WTBTS, have created a stagnant pool of diseased, progress destroying, soul stifling, thought crushing, bigoted regurgitation, from which they continually feed from, bathe in, and poop in. This is their "gene pool" from which future leaders arise, to shed more "light" for the bacteria feeding in their world of recycled dookie to enjoy. Mmmmm!!! Yummy!!! Tastes like Catholicism and Zionism, with a dash of Adventism!!
The WTBTS has actually manifested its own cliff and army of lemmings, whether they realize it or not. They are their own worst enemy and the architects of their own demise.
Any "progress" is illusory, as it must be, because an ignorant mass of individuals cannot become an enlightened organization. Changing meeting times and formats, changing fonts on official letters, placing projectors into King-dumb Halls, re-branding into JW....whatever, allowing publishers to sit or stand silently by trolley carts, changing the way publishers are "allowed" to count placements, is NOT PROGRESSIVE.
All "progress" is an illusion to bolster the relevance of the Organization; which is simply an extension of the GB's collective identity. Everything from the new memorial outline ( basically forbidding new partakers from even daring to imagine they were equal to the GB ) to the infantile new songs, or singing cart video, all stem from the same need. The need of crusty old bigots to maintain their hold over their cesspool kingdom of ignorant, weak and frightened sychophants who are forbidden to leave the pool or even attempt to clean it. They are told to STFU and wait on Jeehooplah.
To make matters worse, the very individuals who see the corruption and legalism ingrained in the system, those most needed for true progress, are labled as enemies of the state for their adamant refusal to submit to ideological coprophagia.

Anyway, whatever "new" time-slip they use to quantify spirituality won't make a damn bit of difference in the long run.

JW blood was shed for this right. Do you think WT will just do away with DD? Not in a trillion years. Regarding child abuse accusation against the WT, WT is somewhat concerned about the negative publicity but it is not a major concern because they are confident that the way they handle child abuse cases is proper and complies with Caesar. However, new precautions have been adapted to protect against lawsuit vulnerabilities.
