    agree with many here about the date of baptism to our leaving being the minor part of the damaging years, us "born ins" have a lifetime affected by this cult

    1988 at age 16.

    3) when did you leave/woke up completely? (date please, i.e. 2013)

    1998 at age 26.

    Mom contacted 1975, baptized 1976/77 I think. Dad never in.

    Raised since 1977 with some dad interventions. Studied with missionaries as a youngin'. Not too concerned tho'.

    Baptized 1987, regular pioneered, accepted to Bethel by GB, denied attending by Elder who sent his son instead, etc

    Went walkabout 1992 after crazy WT article outright contradicted previous WT article (in same magazine issue to boot)

    Attended the Memorial in 2015 with mom for her partaking, first time in a KH since '92. Everyone had gotten quite chubby since I last saw them. Looking healthy enough.

    I'm going with 87- 92 ... 5 yrs
