I hope the letter about deleting the Theocratic school is true.

It would make me happy if it was reduced to 1 hour, and the Sunday meeting too, and the big assembly 2 days, 10 am to 3 pm. Enough!

    Would you stay?

Crazy it's true in the spanish they are more embracing of WT changes, I find they have more of a loyalty to GB, just hearing their comments makes it clear, I think cause its embedded in their culture.... i will admit I wouldn't have come across TTATT if i only knew spanish... it's all translation it doesn't come across the same believe me I only came across it because of my experience with a JW person in my congregation, English is my first language & once I discovered things I literally went back to all the Eng watchtowers & read them to see what we're people talking about..... besides the older publications in the 1800-1900 can be found mostly in english..... people in the spanish are more socialists & many don't want to jepordize their social friends so they ignore anything negative, we have gatherings every weekend everyone is always invited with music & dancing, it's a fiesta each time especially after our mtgs, someone's house hosting & all bring spanish food, this is for hours

Ha Ha that is so true OW. There was always a gathering of some sort every single weekend. And I'm talking Salsa dancing, Cumbia dancing and lots of drinking. Of course every other weekend someone was getting in trouble with some guy or gal.

But would believe even that has changed? The WT is even breaking up cultures.

LOL... yeap, that is pretty much what a JW wedding looks like in South Texas. Specially the dance moves.

They completely pulled the plug on dance parties in my neck of the Canadian woods shortly after I finished high school, mostly for that reason.

John Aquila : ja jajajajaja that pretty much sums it ..... i think the spanish will turn a blind eye to TTAT, i really don't hear any getting DF or DA for "apostacy" in the spanish....i honestly believe the elders won't even know how to handle a JC for that.... one thing I've seen is a great Idea to do is when u submit a DA letter is to type/write ur letter behind the UN NATION certificate of confirming the WTBTS membership to the UN jajajajaja if it gets to that point for me I'll definitely will do that...

    ViDOIT: EXACTLYYYY JAJA, soo funny

I think it will be classic many elders in sp speak eng so they would be exposed to it

Hey Faye, when I finally stepped down as an elder several congregations got into this dance craze. We all started taking Tango dancing lessons. Then we started having covert dancing get to-gethers. In time we started taking lessons in Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, and Salsa dancing.

Then our get to-gethers started escalating into a mixture of our own creation. Then we started having like competition to see who had the best created dance. Finally one young sister and two brothers went above and beyond and copied the last dance in the movie, "Take the Lead" (Second video) and the elders found out and we were done.
Then all talks started at the Kingdom Hall that dancing is "The Devil"
You know, those are one of the fun times I had while in the WT. It was a blast.

Salsa, Samba, Rumba and Cha Cha and started having covert dancing competition. After about a year we got caught and the talks started in the Kingdom Hall that dancing is the DEVIL. But it was fun for about a year.
