Good points Jeff. Like yourself in many ways I " blew up the bridge " to a large extent when I stopped attending in 2003. I view it like you do in that all we have is the rest of our life from here on out- so why not make the best out of that life that we can and enjoy it ? Totally. This is a great post.
I have pretty much come to terms with having a "limp" for the rest of my life myself.
One of my professors suggested "Don't try to undo the past" but just do the best possible moving forward. . .. which is exactly what I've been doing.
