Animal, whereas I may not be able to say exactly what love is, I know when I am in it....
The key is to be with someone who thinks along the same lines as you, and thereby avoid unintentional emotional harm.
Whereas, I agree, I think that this could be a problem for most couples. Usually this sort of thing is perceived to be "infidelity" and the other partner feels threatened.
(but then denying it could also cause complications?)
Simon, I think it could cause complications. I also think that the other partner can usually sense when their partner may be distracted by another love interest. I have heard many men and women say that they had dreams about their partner fooling around and this is what eventually led to them investigating and finding out what was going on.
IMHO, there are many different levels of "love",
Mac, I agree. I think that there could even be a few that we humans haven't discovered yet...lol
Im not saying it could work 4 everybody, but it worked 2 me!!!
Gydja, cool. Congrats!
I believe open marriage or open relationships are a tested and tired concept that doesn't work any better than communism does for most people.
Robyn, my 2 secret girlfriends said they agree with you.
Robyn, I'm in love with your mind, sweetie.
Is that all you love? Drats, I was hoping you loved my body too.
Thank you all for responding.
