The two most prominient messengers, are the first and the last - St. Paul and Pastor Russell .

Is this guy whacked or what! He also considered himself as the Laodicean Messenger.

    Who were messengers 2,3,4,5,6?

Above is the headstone above Russell's grave. Note that he was viewed as the seventh, or "Laodician Messenger" to the Churches (Revelation 3:14) The first six are listed as: St. Paul, St. John, Arius, Waldo, Wycliffe, Luther. (The Finished Mystery, Karatol edition, 1918, p. 64)

The Bible Students Library probably has everything one would like to know about Russell.

Click Download. Then check in the left column for Russell and click. I especially enjoyed reading the Dec. 1916 issue of Zion's Watchtower that contains his Biography; Wills and Testament of C.T.R.; The Funeral Services (floral arrangement containing Cross and Crown); Address at Morning Service; Address at Evening Service; One of God's Nobleman; Pastor Russell's Relation to the Pilgrims; Closing Scenes in New York and Pittsburgh; Letters Expressing Sympathy and Loyalty."

According to Studies in the Scriptures, series 7 "The Finished Mystery", Messenger 2 was John; #3= Arius, #4=Waldo, #5= Wycliffe, #6=Luther. Hope this helps!

Yep, Charles Taze Russell is about as related to divinely interpreting Scripture from an invisible God as his predecessors were. <rolls eyes>

Of course the Messenger carrying the tidings to the end times church had a very great responsibility. Very important man. This makes Russells contribution to Religious history greater and more significant than Martin Luthers. What a great man. What a blessing from Jehovah dont you agree brothers ?

Actually, C.T. Russell NEVER claimed to be any BUT a servant of God, like all Christians should be. The Finished Mystery was not written by Russell, it was written by George Fisher and Clayton Woodworth. You'll those crazy remarks are not from Russell but from these two compilers.

    RR,

Russell had plenty of "CRAZY" REMARKS HIMSELF.......SUCH AS FALSE PROPHESYING.....REMEMBER?

    Blondie,

    Who were messengers 2,3,4,5,6?

    2. Joseph I wish I was sober Rutherford.

    3. The GB......under strict watch by NA knorr, and his sidekick, tonto.....I mean Fred Franz.

    Let's look at #2. Big J. Ruthlessford

Although the society claimed this Organisation was ran by the Faithful and Discreet Slave, Rutherford wrote every book that was read by the dubs of his day......where was the rest of the "Slave" to give their input? Their asses were kicked out if they dare confront the alcoholic about the matter. Alcoholics get mad easy.
