Good one - I've been calling them 'shoe sale men' and 'window cleaners' for years :) I'll have to add 'cheese cracker men' to my choice of meaning less BORG titles :)

Yes, I wondered where this term came from. During my time spent in the Org, especially at the end, I was bothered greatly to the extent that these "cheese and cracker" men offered their haphazard services playing psychiatrist to the mentally ill and marriage counselor to those truly in need of such.
