What 95% of the world do you refer to? North America? The UK? Australia? Most of Africa? The Middle East? Why not be specific in your claim of 95%? Do not make claims of percentages without facts to support your statement.

Ummm, I think I said "close to" and excluding "the west" and "christian" world. Yes, I do believe I said that. So, all YOU would need to do is divide the world and exclude the west/christian parts of it. Oh, and make sure you calculate it by ALL of the world, including the world that doesn't readily CONFESS its stand on child sex.

But, just to help you out a tad: ask any you can trust to tell you the TRUTH, of the Hispanic, Asian, African, Hindu and Islamic persuasions. Ask them. Do not ask them what their personal believes are. Do not ask them as "Americans". Ask them as someone SINCERELY interested in knowing the TRUTH... with regard to practices in their homelands and its history. Wait! If you're from the US, ask your grandparents about THEIR grandparents. Cause just 100 years ago, the age of consent for MARRIAGE... for a GIRL... was 10.

I have enough of my own homework to do, Reborn. I am not going to do yours for you. If you REALLY want to know, there is a PLETHORA of places to find out. I could recheck my anthropology and philosophy texts, but I won't. Why? Because people like you are CONTENT to sit back and let others do the work for them. But I won't. I have told you HOW to find out, who to ask. Now, it's up to you.

Yes, I did. And I pretty much have again. And you know why? Because to find the "real" truth, so as to give it to you in the form you wish it, I would have to open myself up to scrutiny by those I do not wish to. I would have to give you child pornography statistics and child sex statistics and age of consent for the past 100 years statistics, and the only FAST way I know to find them would be the Internet. Problem is, even going there might "ring a bell" somewhere that I don't want rung. So, I have TOLD you; YOU... look it up.

By not providing facts about a statement YOU made and instead passing the responsibility to someone else, you are being evasive.

If that's how you see it. I don't "argue" like most folks (ask Farkel). I simply state what I know to be true. If it were NOT true, or I didn't know it to BE true, I wouldn't have touched it. If you knew me (and of course, you don't... but hang around), you would know that.

I think my allegation DOES hold credence, with those here who also know. With you, however, do you really think I care whether you believe me or not? Heck, we were talking about God and Christ, you have some belief issues there; do you think I am going to "curl up and die" because you have these as well?

Reborn, you don't know me, dear. Dispute it. So what? Your dispute does not change the truth. Your unwillingness to accept what is TRUE, however, makes me feel quite sorry for you. Why? Because when this matter IS proven to you, however, it is... you are going to be in for quite a shock. You have already had your faith in God shaken; your faith in man will undergo even more.

Surely, for someone who by their own admission understands quantum physics, surely you can comprehend a basic law of science.

ER?! What in the WORLD gave you the impression that I understood quantum physics?! And who's talking "science?" Ah, I see... if I were, for example, to provide "evidence" that, say, 93% of the world has no problem, then I would have missed the "mark", right? Okay. I get it.

Allow me to give you an example. Suppose someone were to say that 50% of all Jehovah's Witnesses are murderers. The person who makes that statement is responsible for providing documentation to prove their claim. Until they do so, it remains just that, their claim. It is not the responsibility of a person disputing their charge to provide evidence. This is a fallacy.

Well, personally, I would put the percentage MUCH higher, but it all depends on what YOU mean by "murderer," doesn't it?

Actually, I think it's much more clearer to me, than to you, but... okay, I'll play along...

1. Allegation: 90% of all Jehovah's Witnesses are murderers

2. Fact: 90% of them believe that they are the only ones who will "survive Armageddon," and that all others are equal and worthy of death and destruction, and so, because they are TAUGHT to "hate" those not "like" them... they already have them dead... and burned up... in their hearts. So much so that SOME of them even "covet" their neighbor's house already; and

3. Fact: 90% of them believe that any loved one who used to be "like" them but is no more is now "dead" in their eyes, so that such ones no longer even exist to be spoken to or helped or considered with any modicum of compassion or pite (praise JAH! I didn't have any family in the org...)

4. Argument: If in their minds one are already "dead", they are only so because such ones have "killed" them in their hearts... because in TRUTH such persons are alive and living... but only not to THEM;

5. Conclusion: 90% of them committ "murder"... every day... as my way of thinking tells me it's so...

Well, okay, let's say I "flunked" Argumentation. (Actually, I got "A's" in Anthropology 002 and 210, Argumentation 4A, Critical Thinking 1C, Philosophy 002, 101 and 110, Biology 020A and 020B, and Ethnics 002 and 3150 - yeah, I go to school. Needed something to keep my brain from "exploding." Went back at 40.). Anyway, how did I get such grades? I simply CHOSE to not go by the "rules". As I am doing here. Why? Because the "rules" don't always apply, dear one. Even in math. Ask any computer scientist: 1 + 1 does NOT always equal 2. And as my professors all said regarding whatever paper I turned in for such grade, "I never THOUGHT of it that way." Of course.

You think IN the "box," Reborn, as many do, which is why they find it SO hard to "hear" ANYTHING... or exercise faith. I have ben taught by my Lord and thus LEARNED... to think... outside of it. For the "box" limits you. Greatly. Heck, even a scientist has to think OUTSIDE of it... once in awhile... sooner or later.
