Can anyone confirm if this is true? I received the e-mail below: Panorama was shown 14th July and we heard shortly after that the police were very interested! I received a phone call last night, 19th Aug 2002 saying that there had been a report on the radio stating that the Watchtower in London had been raided by the police! More updates as news comes in! ...this is how false rumors get started. Or at least, one of my coworkers' hairdressers said she thought she heard on TV last year that it was...
So it may/may not be true. Hope it is. Children of JWs and the public need police protection from this criminal society. IF raided, it would probably be to seize documents such as judicial committee files proving that such are being used and to hide the rapists of the kids.

If this rumor is not confirmed within an hour at most, then I think Simon or whoever is moderating needs to delete this string to squealch the possibility it might get passed on as legit when not.
