I want to consider this point, free from the Trinity / Arian debate.
There have been an abundance of threads that have deteriorated into these doctrine, and it clouds this issue because tempers get raised.
So, please, can we keep it simple. Should Jesus receive our worship, right here, right now?
Following on from that, but a separate point, is it right to pray to him?
Hmm, well if I understand the trinity correctly, Jesus is One with God and the Holy spirit yet is individual at the same time right? If they are separate yet one, I would imagine that Godhead is still the one that should be receiving the worship. As Jesus is the intermediary, I would imagine that prayer would be appropirate. BUt what the hell do I know.
Why would Jesus want you to worship him?

Valid point, in a trinitarian context, but I want to sidestepp that particular debate, in this thread
Sleepy, also a valid question, but not what I was asking. Do you want it adding to the melting pot as a third part to the thread?
