When I am in public (not with merely family or at work, however) I always rise when a new person enters the room. Female or male. It's simply a case of good manners.

If a man enters the room, everything goes on as normal.

As I have said on other threads-- women are wonderful creatures and i worship the ground the ywalk on - -I give up my seat for them , I tip my hat to them, I hold open doors for them --and so on -- a littel creature worship wehn it is the opposite sex is wonderful now and then
