Emblem Takers Mentally Unstable?

Are you putting any faith/belief in the Watchtower's false 2 class doctrine, fake second coming of Jesus in 1914 and crazy, illogical interpretation of Matthew 24:45-47?

Let's examine each Watchtower doctrine in light of Scripture:

    1. 2 class doctrine...

There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope at your calling (Ephesians 4:4).

Every person in this age (the age of grace) is called by God. Many run when he calls, while others respond to His call.

Heaven is the eternal home of all believers. The paradise that Adam and Eve were created in is part of heaven and that's where all believers will eventually live. There aren't 2 hopes for believers. That is a lie the Watchtower came up with to segregate the rank & file from the elite laeders. That is why the leaders teach that anyone who begins obeying Jesus and drinks the wine and eats the cracker is mentally unbalanced...

On balance, that a few more chose to partake of the emblems is no cause for concern. Over the years some, even ones newly baptized, have suddenly begun to partake. In a number of cases, after a while they acknowledged that this was an error. Some have recognized that they partook as an emotional response to perhaps physical or mental strain. But they came to see that they really were not called to heavenly life. (8/15/96 Watchtower) page 31

    2. The watchtower teaches that jesus' presence began in 1914 and the two witnesses came along in 1919. God's word says that the 2 witnesses come along immediately before the great tribulation so 100 years is not immediately before (Revelation 11:1 - Revelation 13:18).

    3. Matthew 24:45-51 is a parable contrasting the differences between faithful and unfaithful believers. Nothing more, nothing less.

It is a shame that the Watchtower teaches falsehoods and an even bigger shame that 8 million people have bought into their lies.

    @ Cold Steel:

here's what OTWO was referring to:

    .

    w11 8/15 p. 22 Questions From Readers

"Memorial partakers. This is the number of baptized individuals who partake of the emblems at the Memorial worldwide. Does this total represent the number of anointed ones on earth? Not necessarily. A number of factors—including past religious beliefs or even mental or emotional imbalance—might cause some to assume mistakenly that they have the heavenly calling. We thus have no way of knowing the exact number of anointed ones on earth; nor do we need to know. The Governing Body does not keep a list of all partakers, for it does not maintain a global network of anointed ones."

    .

This statement is astounding for many reasons, not just for the judgmental nature of WT marginalizing people in their own religion.

The WT has always said (up until 2013) that all of the anointed were the 'faithful slave', therefore all were a part of Jesus' special group of truth dispensers. The Governing Body also claims to represent ALL of the faithful slave class.

Which begs the question: how can the GB represent the faithful slave (old light view) when it neither knows nor cares who they are or how many there are in the group?

Their claim exposes their hypocritical lies... again.

Cold Steel - "Emblem Takers Mentally Unstable?"

Every one I met - while quite nice - certainly seemed just a little... off.

There's a quote from Thomas Szasz; "If you talk to God, you are praying; If God talks to you, you have schizophrenia."

    I think it's applicable.

Shirley (quoting w11 8/15 p. 22 Questions From Readers) - "We thus have no way of knowing the exact number of anointed ones on earth; nor do we need to know. The Governing Body does not keep a list of all partakers, for it does not maintain a global network of anointed ones."

I may need to show this to my devout JW mom.

She is still of the opinion that the GB is conducting all "Truth" from the rest of the Anointed via that very means.

Most "real" Christians would seem odd to Witnesses if they went to our Hall and pretended to be part of the congregation. My theory is that many anointed are a tad closer to the traditional "Jesus saves" mentality of Christianity. When you think about it, saying that you're anointed is saying that Jesus is your savior, which the average JW is unable to claim.

I may need to show this to my devout JW mom.

She is still of the opinion that the GB is conducting all "Truth" from the rest of the Anointed via that very means.

What, does she think that somehow their holy spirit and prayers flow through the GB like a kind of oil pipeline?

All JW's are deluded. To live your life in a state of delusion is to be Mentally Unstable.

This may sound like a trite and easy criticism, coming from someone who is aware of TTATT, but it is not that.

I am seriously worried that JW's , in their condition of being both deluded and easily led, can be manipulated into doing something really CRAZY !

    Here's how self-contradictory WT is:

    Don't judge:

15 On the other hand, how should other Christians view a person who claims to have received this anointing and begins to partake of the emblems at the Memorial? He or she should not be judged. The matter is between this person and Jehovah.( W 6-15-09, p. 23)

    contrast with:

    But we will judge anyway:

"A number of factors—including past religious beliefs or even mental or emotional imbalance—might cause some to assume mistakenly that they have the heavenly calling." -- W 8-15-11

    We represent the faithful slave:

"... Governing Body, which represents "the faithful and discreet slave." -- W 6-15-09, p.24

    contrast with:

But we we don't talk to them, know them or give a flying fig who they are:

"The Governing Body...does not consult with... does not maintain a global network of anointed ones." -- w8/15/2011

    Now that's funny.

You would think the FDS would appoint it's own representitive, but since the GB never knew those who make up the FDS how could the GB have been appointed by the FDS; the GB is in effect saying "we never knew you" to the Slave, but we appoint ourselves to represent you.

The truth is, the GB was always self-appointed in claiming to be the FDS' rep.

Of course this has all changed now, since the GB claims to be, not just the representitive of the FDS, but the FDS itself!

The new move may have eliminated the above problem of the GB having to actually know who they are representing, but it simply escalated their self-appointment to a higher level, and it makes the GB even more arrogant now than before.

Does anyone know of a partaker who does so continuously but has doubts?

I believe there are a group of ex JWs that partake (on their own), and still believe they are of the anointed.

if they believe that partakers are mentally unstable, then they shouldn't be serving alcohol to them... just saying...
