I think as black&white thinking becomes lesser Governments will start makeing laws that will put cults open for more lawsuits. WHat do you think.

I do not think outlawing any cult is the answer but they should have their tax exempt status taken away.

One threat to social cohesion and globalization is authority thought viruses and the fact that they are becoming unpopular on the internet. Government laws have to be progressive according to information and must come to grips with cults that are destructive to their member's due to their parasitic nature of praying on their guliblity and so make claims that pray on that nature/weakeness. It is just a matter of time is all.

Since the courts now routinely intervene to save babies/children's lives who are at risk from the Watchtower's evil blood transfusion police, the JW's should have their tax exemption status removed until they at least change that policy, and governments should sue them as well for breaching universal human rights. The Russians and Chinese don't tolerate such bullshit.

At times the authorities do recognize cults and they investigate and even go on to intervene. Two examples are Jonestown and The Branch Davidians.

The question they have to answer is: where do we draw the line?
