Why do JWs have this* on their FB pages now?

    The "mystery" to me is the 8-1-2014 date.

    I clicked on jw.org and it seems to be the same ol'.

    p.s. for the rest of the planet, this is from the US and I assume doesn't indicate Jan. 8...

    August 1 is the opening date of the special "pass out the JW.org tract" campaign.

    If I cared enough to bother about Facebook, I'd come up with a similarly formatted post:

    "8.2.2014

    The world found out....and still doesn't give a $#!+"

    8-1-2014 is today, the start of the "special campaign" to distribute the Jw.org tract. As a "still in" Jw, I find that facebook post insultingly stupid, eccentric, and in bad taste. I am embarrassed by some peoples lack of thinking and dignity.

    A campaign to get people to look them up on the web? Great.

    I assume they want to direct people AWAY from just entering "Jehovah's Witness" in Google? That only gets you to places like this site.

    What the heck? the new campaign with the tract doesn't really say much. Don't exactly know what the world will know that is new if it's pretty much the same thing already being taught. Just another event in JW land
