All the reputable sources I have looked up agree that a small deportation of Jews to Babylon occured in 597 BCE. This is the very earliest of deportations.

607BCE is still, somewhat strangely, the "Year when Nothing Happened " as far as Historians, and Wiki as well, are concerned.
