Well, of course nothing else would be expected, but it passes me off.

For example, they show this short video that shows a child dying, shows her father crying as he visits her grave...and then she is reunited with her family in "The New System" and then it shows a handicapped girl who is sad she can't ice skate with friends...fast forward to TNS, she can skate!!! Then an elderly couple is shown happily young again... Seriously, who wouldn't want to believe that could happen. It sounds wonderful. WTBTS has certainly found a way to capitalize on people's fears and wishes. Oh, and donation boxes are like every 5 feet.

And of course the end is "so close!"

Botchtower is selling an idea, a concept, a myth. And millions have fallen for it. This is why so many fight against religion. It keeps people captive and dishing out their money for some mythical future prize that is never going to materialize.

Just because you WANT something to be true, doesn't mean that it is. It is so imperative that critical thinking skills be taught/learned/developed. If something smells like BS or sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Ask for evidence. If it cannot be presented, walk away. (Hint: The Bible does NOT qualify as evidence.)

Heaven, I have asked for certain doctrines to be proven by the bible...and so far no one has been able to support the doctrines in question from the bible, only by referring to wt pubs. So while I agree...The wtbts doesn't even base their brand of crazy on the bible.
