  There's not much point in running with this, the teaching will change once it becomes completely untenable.

  Interesting thing though, is that this teaching is barely tenable right now! And it only changed last when... 2010? I think the overlapping BS started in 1995. They won't be able to get away with officially changing it without some fallout.

  IMHO their best play would be to ignore the words "this generation" completely for a while, remove it in new editions of old books, etc. Then once someone brings it up they can say that is a 'previously held view' and can berate the questioner for not 'keeping up with Jehovah's chariot.'

  So...who are the secondary part of "this generation", those advancing in years that will not pass away?? Was Guy Pierce part of "this generation?" If they are saying there is a 3rd group, then they have really painted themselves in a corner. What happens when all of the "generation" are gone and only the third group are left? Will the 3rd group[ those running the Corporation 10-20 years from now] teach that the GT will be soon? Where does Sanderson fit in? Is he an overlapper? How are they going to pull this off? They can't say it started invisibly can they?

  If they say the GT starts, then what? Will they say that if will end when Jehoober says so?? How can this continue indefinitely?? It's ludicrous.

  Is Armageddon part of "all the things that will take place"? like the worst disaster to ever hit the planet? surpassing the flood? surely YES? if not, why not?

  then:

  WHY do the Wt writers now teach that the anointed, all 3 groups -in that generation WILL, yes WILL PASS AWAY without seeing Armageddon? raptured BEFORE Armageddon?

  Did Jesus not say* the anointed will NOT pass away, that is, -- see it all? does being gathered to heaven not entail passing away? did anybody ever go to heaven without passing away?

  * that what wt writers say Jesus MEANT ( he probably would be surprised to hear that)
