Does the Spirit (who is Christ) speak, and how?

Actually, no... I am sorry. I don't truly want you to be 'finished' (with me if you want, sure, but not with Christ and God), because I would love to also see you find peace and love in Christ, and to be in the Kingdom. (I think you want that too, or you would not be here on this and any thread that speaks to the Spirit... but you are just so busy 'fighting against the goads')

    Peace to you,

    tammy

My problem is not with people who have faith, my problem is with arrogance.

It is arrogant to think that god is christ. Do we realize the billions of people do not believe in Christ? Out of those billions, a percentage of those claim that God speaks to them individualy. So if christ/Jehovah is god then are these people lying?

Second, to presume that God does not talk to us because wedont want him to is not only arrogant but also very ridiculous. Dont you think every single one of us here would love to have a relationship with GOD?!? Why in hell were we part of the JW if this is not what we longed for?!? Do you honestly think that one day we woke up and thought, " You know...Im gonna go ahead and deny the existence of God."? It was through years of thinking things over, experiences and rational thought. Its not like we chose. You cannot choose to believe that the earth is round. You have indisputable evidence. You would have to ignore everything you know to think the earth was flat.

We have no choice but to conclude there is no god. All evidence presented that a God exists is very, very, very disputable. Until someone, like you Tammy, makes fire rain down upon New York city or I "hear" a voice along with rocks shattering, earth quaking or some other freaky act, will you then be able to say I chose to ingnore what i saw and heard. HE did this for his prophets to convince them and his people, why cant he do it for me? He has spoken with you Tammy, why couldnt he have done it for me and billions of others.

So what are you testing of what is written in the OP?

Your insistance that Jesus speaks to you and how. You then proceeded to state that he doesn't like being called "Jesus". I asked you if that was the message you were to give, and you immediately questioned my motives as being bad. As I've seen you do with anyone who questions you and doesn't just agree. (IE: They are questioning with bad motives, they are not worthy to hear Jesus like you.....etc.....etc......)

So how exactly do we "test" your messages without daring to question you? I'm starting to think that while preaching "TEST!" you actually do not allow testing-only unquestioning agreement with whatever you state. Okay. Got it.

Hummingbird: the standard reply which this boil down to is you got to ask jesus yourself for a test and then its up to jesus to determine what to do.

This is probably just as filled with errors as the Judeo-Christian Bible is:

So we do need personal contact with His Noodiliness. Luckily, I get that personal contact, so I am free to ignore "scriptures" that don't fit with what I am sure He says or means and then use the scriptures to my advantage whenever I want to trump whatever someone else says.

Works for me. Jesus still hasn't called me.

Arguing with Tammy is futile, in her own mind she is ALWAYS right,.. because, well, her Lord told her so of course!

Sometimes, even when we think we do... we don't really want to hear the Truth.

Sometimes, even when we think we hear... we don't really want to acknowledge that it's all in our brain.

Meant with no disrespect... it's just that hearing a voice from an invisible friend is well... you know.
Expecting others will believe only of your invisible friend talks to them also is reasonably asinine.

When I decide to debate with Tammy and others it is not with the vain hope that I might convince her with reason. It is to demonstrate to others that what sounds like a lovey message about god speaking to us today, turns out to be deceitful and manipulative when you dare to ask a few reasonable questions.

All forms of theism depend on submission. They all turn unpleasant when you push back.

Think of it as a public service.
