Why has your belief brought you "joy and peace"? Can you expound upon that more fully (eg what do you expect to experience after death? What would a typical "day" be like for you, after you die)?

Do not assume that this has to do with life after death. I have joy and peace here and now, in Christ. Regardless of what comes after. I DO have joy in the life that is coming.... now... but I did not always even think about that. It is just that this hope has been made sure. But joy and peace came from Christ, first.

    So...

Faith in Christ has allowed me to see and to hear the Truth about God. That God IS love, that all that He has ever done has been FOR us; out of love; to help us; to guide us; to have life; to know peace and love. So when I am given understanding on something that previously seemed to show otherwise, my joy is great... and I MUST share that with others, for their joy also. I know that this forum is not always the best place for that. Not everyone WANTS that, or wants to hear anything, and so such sharing here is often received badly (by many of those commenting... not by many of those reading... there are many who WANT to hear and are glad that something has been shared, but just do not comment publicly) Hence, we have another forum, specifically for those who do want to hear and share with one another, and so to build the Body of Christ UP, in joy and in peace and in truth. Encouraging faith in the Spirit... rather than mocking it.

But there are some here who also belong to Christ, or who are seeking Him, or who might be hurt but want to come to Him, or who DO want to hear.

So I have peace and joy in knowing God, through His Son... knowing the Truth ABOUT God.

I have also 'tasted' the peace and love and joy of the Spirit... so great (almost overwhelming for this vessel), so FULL, leaving no room for anger or sadness or resentment or jealousy or bitterness or anything negative... but ONLY love; true and GREAT love for EVERYONE... and that is what we will feel in the Kingdom.

Take off this vessel with sin and death in it... be clothed in the white robe (spirit body) that has been made clean in the blood of the lamb... so that there is love and life and peace and joy... and energy... all that moves outward. I can understand how there is no more weeping or mourning in the Kingdom.

When one is loved and knows it... as God LOVES us and I can see that now, by knowing His Son, sent as His Word and Truth and Image... then one cannot help but to love in return... love God AND others.

I also LOVE to learn, Adamah... and every new thing I learn from Christ... is EXCITING. So there is joy in that as well.

And yes, of course there is joy and peace in knowing that my loved ones also will be with me in the Kingdom, that my Lord will take care of them, that they too will know this love and peace.

So there is some fuller explanation for you. Hope that helps.

Peace and love to you also,

    tammy

Well said, Witness My Fury. You stated it with an example that saves a bunch of time explaining to others. That was the perfect contribution to this thread.

Cofty, on your post number 9238, that is what often happens. Thank you for your public service here.

So what are you testing of what is written in the OP?

Your insistance that Jesus speaks to you and how.

Okay... so what did you think about the examples of others who heard Christ?

Did you test what was shared against Chrsit, against love, against what is written?

You then proceeded to state that he doesn't like being called "Jesus".

No, I did not say that he did not like being called 'jesus'. Please re-read. I said that was not his name; but certainly that is the name I used for the longest time. But I cannot use something that I know is not his name, now that I know. I often simply address Him as Christ... which IS true.

I asked you if that was the message you were to give, and you immediately questioned my motives as being bad. As I've seen you do with anyone who questions you and doesn't just agree. (IE: They are questioning with bad motives, they are not worthy to hear Jesus like you.....etc.....etc......)

I have never stated that someone is not worthy of hearing. Or even that i AM worthy of hearing. Do you understand how I might see your motives as not being entirely innocent?

You asked if that was the message I was to give (about the name of Christ)... but I never gave that as a message, I even put it in brackets (AND it was in the second post not even the OP) and I did state in the OP, in the first two lines, WHY I was starting this thread.

    No hidden agenda or motives.

So how exactly do we "test" your messages without daring to question you? I'm starting to think that while preaching "TEST!" you actually do not allow testing-only unquestioning agreement with whatever you state. Okay. Got it.

No... I am sorry... but you don't 'got it'.

I shared that also, how to test.

Test against Christ (if you also hear Him)

    Test against love.

Test against what is written. (beginning with Christ of course, as He is the Truth)

    Maybe that is clearer?

    Peace,

I think you overestimate "many" here on JWN.

But there are some here who also belong to Christ, or who are seeking Him, or who might be hurt but want to come to Him, or who DO want to hear.

The Christ y'all describe doesn't have to be imagined and described by AGuest and then repeated until others believe in him, as that is exactly what happened to TEC. That's the start of a dangerous mind-control cult. The Christ y'all describe can contact everyone on HIS own and doesn't need you repeating such nonsense.

There, I said it. You can be recorded with the likes of Joseph Smith, L.Ron Hubbard and C.T. Russell. I hope our kidding around exposes the real issue that is no joke underneath it all. Someone might believe you all and get hurt. That's the start of a dangerous mind-control cult.

Like OTWO I too believe it is not just nonsense but dangerous nonsense. That is why I bother to oppose it.

OTWO, love, my faith in Christ was with me before I came to jwn, and even heard of AGuest. She shared things that I ALSO understood to be true. Same lord; different people; different countries altogether.

But I suppose it is about that time for you and Cofty to make the thread about this old accusation (not too long ago you were hypothesising that I might just be AGuest in disguise, and that is also what you think of people I know TO BE separate actual people, lol, to begin with).

I cannot stop your accusations. People have the freedom to decide for themselves.

And... I have to go out.

    Peace all,

TEC SAID- And yes, of course there is joy and peace in knowing that my loved ones also will be with me in the Kingdom, that my Lord will take care of them, that they too will know this love and peace.

I asked SPECIFICALLY about your belief in what will happen to YOU (TEC) after death, and you only addressed that question indirectly in a sentence single sentence above, and framed your answer in the benefit it gives you NOW. Maybe I was vague, but specifically I was asking about this:

What do you expect to experience after death? What would a typical "day" be like for you, after you die?

In other words, what do you foresee as YOUR daily routine being like in Heaven?

    Adam
