I don't think there's a doctor or med in the world that could cure what ails me. I'm glad some here are so sanguine about what the future holds. Again, all I see is drug resistant bacteria, runaway global warming, economic crises, fukushima, food and water shortages...

See Gapminder Agriculture (push the play button) that shows that agriculture production is steadily increasing. Australia and Canada, compared to the US and China, are bouncy, bouncy balls. I interpret that to mean that in Australia and Canada, we have very, very good years, and very, very bad ones. This year is a bumper crop for wheat.

Seriously? Impossible to predict. Like comparing 1913 to 2013. My view tends towards humanity self destructing but I hope for my kids and their kids sake it gets even better than now.
