    Yes, of course! I would love to spend all my free time (or time when I could be working to put food on the table) sitting at a metro station giving away free 'bible-based' literature to people who are not interested (and also have to put food on the table). It makes perfect sense!

    The use of the term "bible study" by them is a misnomer. Because what they offer is a study of one of their biased publications. They will quote from the bible once in a while.

    When some unsuspecting person does request a "bible study", this is what they are really getting.

    This is like in the old song 32:

    " Of course, it’s not at ev’ry door w e find a hearing ear; At times there is a scolding tongue a nd those who will not hear."

    Similar in German, it says about the door-to-door-preaching that "some want to stay like before." So basically, when JWs go witnessing in a village, almost all inhabitants become witnesses, except for "some" who refuse to listen.
